The RD-600s-P composite underground pipeline flow meter, independently developed by ShenZhen HuaJua Scientific Instruments Co., ltd., is an ultra-compact, non-contact flow measurement device that integrates radar and ultrasonic technologies for monitoring underground pipeline networks.
The device supports flow measurement under various water level conditions, including both non-full pipe and full pipe scenarios. In non-full pipe conditions, it utilizes 24GHz and 60GHz microwaves to measure flow velocity and water level. The built-in software models and algorithms then convert these measurements into cross-sectional flow and cumulative flow. In high water level or full pipe conditions, the device automatically switches to using a high-precision pressure-based water level sensor and 2MHz ultrasonic Doppler to measure water level and flow velocity, thereby calculating cross-sectional flow and cumulative flow. This composite underground pipeline flowmeter's measurements are unaffected by environmental temperature, air pressure, surface vapor, water contaminants, or sediment.
The standout features of Huaju Scientific Instruments' RD-600s-P include its compact size, low power consumption, waterproof and corrosion-resistant design, simple installation, minimal maintenance requirements, and the combination of contact and non-contact measurement methods. It can be powered by battery packs, making it particularly suitable for harsh environmental conditions such as those found in underground pipeline networks.
