Solution Overview

With the advancement of smart city initiatives, monitoring urban underground drainage networks has become increasingly critical. Innovations in next-generation sensors and IoT technologies have driven the development of intelligent and mature pipeline monitoring systems.

Underground pipelines require real-time monitoring of liquid levels and flow rates in manholes. Compared to traditional submerged sensors, radar-based flow meters and level gauges offer compact size, easy installation, non-contact operation, low failure rates, and minimal maintenance. These advantages have led to their widespread adoption in pipeline monitoring scenarios.

 

This solution employs non-contact radar sensors and low-power IoT transmission to collect data on flow rate, velocity, and liquid levels. Additional sensors (e.g., water quality monitors) can be integrated to capture parameters such as pH and temperature. The system provides actionable insights for daily operations, maintenance scheduling, emergency response, and overall management of drainage networks.
